Our History

At the Kennel Café we believe your pet is an important and loving member of your family.
​
In 1998, the Kennel Café opened its doors to offer health and wellness for your fuzzy family member. Since then we have earned a strong reputation in our community for providing high quality, holistic dry and raw pet foods. Our selection also includes toys, accessories and natural remedies.

After our tragic fire in 2012 , it was with the support of our local Roncesvalles community partners that enabled the Kennel Cafe to be rebuilt. One year later the Kennel Café re-opened its doors on May 2013.
A Place for Rescues
​
Over the years, the store has also been a centre for fostering and caring for rescue cats and dogs. We have been fortunate and thankful to have found forever homes for each one of them!

Growing the Family
In 2014 we opened a second store at 2362 Lakeshore Blvd W (at Park Lawn). Come in and say hello to our friendly staff and playful rescues.
